Horizon Dorigny, Site C

A new district containing innovative housing, living and working spaces will be built in the west of Lausanne by 2024. PORR has been commissioned to carry out the preparatory work on the sites A, B, C, D and E, as well as the construction of 27,300m² of floor area for the buildings on site C.

Building 1 will house 140 flats spread over seven floors around an inner courtyard open to the south. This courtyard is delimited on the ground floor by a covered hall of 840m², ensuring the transition to the vast parking area.

Building 2 is a one-storey building designed as a pavilion with a restaurant seating 95 and a terrace for 80 guests.

Building 3 contains a commercial area on the ground floor of just over 1,000m² and 60 micro-apartments on three floors and forms a sound barrier to the E23 motorway. The necessary technical areas, the cellars of the flats and an underground car park are located in the basement.

The aim is to achieve carbon neutrality of the building through heat pumps and a photovoltaic system. A photothermal supplement is also envisaged.
