PORR requires materials, subcontractors and services totalling several billion Swiss francs a year. Each country has its own procurement units, all of which are supported by the purchasing department in our Vienna headquarters. The common goal: Procurement at optimal conditions, both economically and qualitatively. PORR Group’s ethical, social and ecological principles are always respected.

All procurements, such as material orders or subcontractor services, are handled via the purchasing system in Switzerland. For the customer relations several contract models are available, which cover all construction-specific procurement processes ranging from a single order to long-term framework agreements.
A catalogue-based IT procurement system is used for C-items, which streamlines the ordering process. The procurement strategy focuses on partnership-based cooperation with subcontractors and promotes long-term supplier relationships.
