The Lenzburg feeder project to the A1 highway was intended to solve the existing capacity problems at the Neuhof junction. The central element is the Neuhof tunnel.
The traffic flow of the motorway feeder road to the A1 (Bern - Zurich) is routed under the Neuhof junction without any crossings using the 362m long tunnel and the two ramps Hero (94m) and Horner (186m).
